It's hard looking back now to imagine a hot August day in Virginia, with the weather cooling and the trees bare, it's almost impossible to think it was one of the hottest days of the year when Meredith and John got married but even with the heat and humidity at it's peak, it didn't put a damper on the love and beauty that was their big day.
Meredith is one of those gals who is beautiful inside and outside. Soft-spoken and sweet and just an absolute pleasure to be around. She had a beautiful bright, summer color scheme that matched her bubbly personality perfectly!
They got married in the same church that both Meredith's mother and grandmother were married in. The sweet, sentimental connection with the church made it all the more special and the memory charm of her grandparents on her bouquet added that last personal touch that makes a day so special!
After their beautiful ceremony in Fairfax, the party began at Whitehall Manor in Bluemont. Whitehall is a beautiful estate tucked into the valleys of Bluemont with sprawling grounds and beautiful antique manor details. Luckily there was plenty of room in the house for all of their guests so no one melted!
How fun is this bridal party? The entire day can be perfectly summed up in this picture, a great group of fun people that made the reception a total party! What's even better is Merediths maid of honor and sweet sister Ashleigh is a new bride as well! Congratulations Ashleigh!!!
I mean honestly...how cute are these two?! After dinner there was dancing and a great show by Black Tie Band. This group knows how to have fun!
One of my favorite parts of the evening was the bride and groom crowd surfing through their guests and their priest Father Mike singing along to the Backstreet Boys. Again, fun is one of the best words to describe this wedding!!!
As the sunlight faded from the sky and the stifling heat dissipated, the super talented Sam Stroud and RJ took the bride and groom outside and captured the last, gorgeous fleeting bits of sunshine for some magical pictures.
Dreamy doesn't even begin to describe these two!!
Meredith and John, I hope that all of the love, happiness and joy of your wedding day extends through your entire marriage together. I hope you never lose that playful, loving happy disposition and the years only make you fall farther in love with each other!
