"Fashionably Late (as defined by Urban Dictionary): The refined art of being just late enough (5 minutes or so) to give the impression that you are a busy, popular person that was held up with other business."

I'm just going to inception the idea into your brain that 5 months in blogland is the equivelant of 5 minutes in real life time to preface my extreme tardiness on this post.

Back in March, my dearest Bethanne Arthur  (who captured all of the images you see here unless otherwise stated) approached me about doing a styled dinner for our local Rising Tide Society chapter in Leesburg. Of course Bethanne is a complete doll and after working with her on a styled shoot I jumped at the opportunity to put together another beautiful setup at 48 Fields for our Tuesdays Together group. Because it's so pretty there she could've said we were sacrificing ourselves to a volcano out back and I still would have said yes!

The crazy thing is Kelly and her husband were literally painting the barn the day of the dinner, putting finishing touches on everything for us so it would be perfect! Thanks Kelly!

If I know anything at all it's that working with the right people can help you accomplish anything. Need amazing bakers? Sweets by E and Noshy are the gals to call, last minute vintage furniture needs? Sonia with Faccia Fresca is all over it. City in peril from a dastardly evil villain? You know how to get a hold of him.

This settee and those vintage plates from Faccia Fresca are things that belong in the chateau in France that I daydream about at least twice a week.

Unfortunately Batman didn't get to attend our dinner but that was really the only negative thing to come out of that day. It was a beautiful, delicious, warm and wonderful evening with 50+ of the most talented creatives I know.

As soon as Bethanne pitched the idea the first person we both had in mind to create a gorgeous tablescape was Julie with Beaumont House Design. Not only did Julie create one of the most breath-taking 24 foot long centerpieces I've ever seen, she also made a last minute frenzied trip to Winchester to pick up some last minute rental items from Grand Rentals. If it weren't for Julie about 30% of our guests would not have been able to eat (or we would have had a very interesting "smash cake" style dinner) so not only is she talented but incredibly reliable as well! Check out some gorgeous glimpses of her table below!

Along with Genevieve and Kari, the 3 different tables came to life in each floral artists own individual version of the light and airy garden-style theme we had in mind and totally nailed it!!!

Our signage was provided by Shrimp Salad Circus and perfectly complimented the stunning 24 foot long farmhouse tables from Jefferson Rentals

Our gorgeous cake topper by Lauren Heim highlighted the reason we all gathered together, #communityovercompetition and our local Rising Tide Society chapter!

This fun invitation suite and perfect dip-dyed place cards were put together by the talented Caitlin Creative Works.

Do you guys like food? Of course you do, silly, you literally need it to survive. But let me tell you something...you will LOVE food like Bear loves his tennis balls if you try anything from Aaron at Hidden Julles. I'm not even kidding, people are still asking me about the ravioli. My personal favorite? The delicious, warm, soft, tender roasted veggie focaccia that started us off. I dream of that bread...in my dreams I have an unlimited supply and I get to eat it every day for every meal and I also never get fat. It's my dream ok? Back off.

To top off the night and as a perfect accompaniment to all of the delicious food, Zephiniah Farm Vineyard provided the most amazing local wine with the coolest backstory and history straight form their circa 1820 farmhouse in the heart of Loudoun county. Not to mention my pals at Hidden Julles are heavy poureres ; ) good lookin, out you guys!

Suzanne of North or Orange captured that heavy pour brilliantly.

If those last two pictures don't capture the relationship that Bethanne and I have perfectly, there will never be another one that does it better.

A very very special shoutout and a million thank you's to all of our amazing vendors and team who helped put this shindig together! It was not possible without this amazing group of talented folks. Please do yourself a favor and check them all out!
