Veronica & Chip Fredericksburg Wedding #BuckYesWeDo
As I was going through my drafts of blog posts I realized it was finally time to share the wonder that is Veronica & Chip with the world. You've probably already seen these two glorious human beings on my Instagram, Facebook feed, website photos etc. but now I'm here to bring you an in depth look at their beautiful wedding day!
November 12 was a gorgeous, brisk fall day with the incredible colors of Northern Virginia still sticking around and the foliage still lingering in the trees. Since Chip is in the Marine Corps reserves, they got married on base at Quantico and then took their reception over to Fredericksburg for a reception at The Glasgow Farm.
Veronica had the idea of rose gold, deep forest green and ivory as her color combo which thrilled my contrarian heart since it was such a respite from the blush pink and bold that dominated last year and this year! She had a great design vision and alongside a phenomenal creative team including Beaumont House and Paisley and Jade we created a picture perfect, romantic fall wedding fit for the pages of a magazine. Everything was captured splendidly by Victoria Selman who thereafter became one of my absolute favorite photographers!
Veronica was of course absolutely stunning in her dress and all her details but I also love Chips rich, warm textures and incredible fall boutonniere!
What's the best part of being a flower girl? Why, the delicious accessories you get adorned with, of course!
If there is something cuter than Chip and Veronica and their sweet coy smiles walking back from being married, I don't know what it is. The flower girl nibbling on her shoe might be a close second!
The thing about Chip and Veronica is not only are they "really really ridiculously good-looking" but they are funny and cool too. Did you know that Veronica is the first person to put a name to my true crime passion and turn me on to one of my favorite podcasts? Yeah, she's that cool. And Chip? Well...
He's pretty rad too.
After the wedding guests headed over to the reception venue to enjoy a champagne tower, hors d'oeuvres, a bar, apple cider station and mingling out on the patio. The Fredericksburg trolley even brought people over with a little bit of old school charm!
One of my favorite parts of their wedding was the custom coloring books they gave to guests that had coloring pages of them and their sweet fur babies!
Veronica and Chip, you two are a timeless, beautiful, classic couple and I am in awe of your awesomeness. I'm so thrilled for you both and I hope to see a lot more of you in 2018!
