Rachel is a Baltimore native living in Northern Virginia. She is a dog mom, wedding architect, interior design fanatic, lover of sunny days, good music, coffee, wine and not taking herself too seriously. Rachel loves planning beautiful, personal and purposeful events and designing magical days for her amazing clients. Rachel has been planning events for over 4 years professionally but has had a passion for hosting and planning all her life. From the early days of putting together birthday parties to assembling corporate events for businesses and non-profits. She found her niche working with couples who want to go against the grain and want their wedding to be authentic to them.
In Her Own Words...
"I honestly never grew up dreaming of planning weddings. I wasn't the girl that dressed like a princess (except those 2 years in a row I went as Belle for Halloween...and that one day I showed up to pre-k still in costume.)
I was the kid who set all of the chairs in our house on the front lawn for the Ace of Base concert my friends and I were to perform on my front porch. I was the person planning the design schemes for birthday parties, rearranging furniture in the house for more "feng shui" and planning and dreaming up all the new possibilities in the world around me. It is that passion for design, desire for a well orchestrated event and my love of helping people that led me into wedding planning."
I believe a wedding should be an exceptional experience for you and your guests. From the sun setting behind the Blue Ridge Mountain range for a ceremony to a luxe, marble lined DC ballroom for the reception, what I love most about weddings is bringing each couples love story to life in their wedding design. The possibilities are endless and the personal touches each of my clients brings to their wedding day always end up being my favorite elements no matter where they are. "
